How Game Onramp Edits and Verifies Guides

Every guide must solve a distinct player task, use evidence for the claims it makes, and keep version-sensitive advice inside a stated build boundary.

We start with the player problem

A keyword or content template is not enough reason to publish a page. Each guide must solve a distinct task and have one primary URL.

Sources have different jobs

  • Official store pages and patch notes confirm identity, platforms, features, and changes.
  • Gameplay or owner testing confirms what actually happens in a current build.
  • Community discussions reveal real blockers, player language, and possible workarounds.
  • Search results and other guides help identify coverage gaps but are not copied or treated as ground truth.

Evidence labels keep claims distinct

We distinguish official information, steps verified by Game Onramp, and community-reported workarounds. A player workaround is not presented as an official guarantee.

Version and update rules

Game rules can change after a patch, release, port, or season. Version-sensitive pages state their version/build scope and last verification date.

We review a guide when an official patch changes the subject, a workaround becomes obsolete, or repeated correction reports reveal a new blocker. High-impact factual or version errors take priority over cosmetic edits.

We do not publish invented precision

We omit exact formulas, thresholds, locations, recipes, or rewards when they cannot be verified reliably. More detail is not better when the detail may be false.

Independence

Game Onramp is an independent guide site. Coverage, links, or criticism are not endorsements or official partnerships unless explicitly disclosed.
