March of Giants Pioneer Playtest: Join & Earn Rewards

The test opened October 7 at 10 AM EDT (14:00 UTC) and runs through October 18. Ubisoft has not specified an exact closing hour in the checked announcement. Use the official channels for maintenance or schedule changes.

1. 1Open the March of Giants base Steam page, app 1924600, and sign in to the intended Steam account.
2. 2Find the March of Giants Playtest panel and select Request Access or Join the Playtest; the two official articles use those labels.
3. 3Wait for Steam’s access notification. Invitations may pause while the team adjusts capacity.
4. 4After access is granted, find March of Giants in your Steam Library and download the test.
5. 5Launch and sign in to your Ubisoft account through Ubisoft Connect, or create an account when prompted.

If you played the September 2025 Closed Alpha, Ubisoft says you are already included. Check the same Steam account’s Library for March of Giants and install the test. A new notification is not expected; you still need a Ubisoft Connect account.

The checked Steam page currently shows Coming soon for the base game and did not display a playtest button in our browser session. That does not override Ubisoft’s active test announcement or guarantee an invitation. Use the steps below to identify which access stage is failing.

Use this October 2026 list to check eligibility. It describes this Pioneer test, rather than the eventual release regions. A missing country is not an invitation to change account region or bypass access restrictions.

The Pioneer test targets Windows PC on Steam with Ubisoft Connect and a persistent broadband connection. English, French, German and Spanish are listed. Mac, consoles, mobile and Steam Deck compatibility are not confirmed for this test by the checked official requirements.

A completed PvP win awards 100 points and a loss awards 50. With the 20% booster active, they award 120 and 60 respectively. PvE, Custom Games and leaving before a match ends award no Pioneer Points.

• Standard total = 100 × wins + 50 × losses.
• Boosted total = 120 × boosted wins + 60 × boosted losses.
• If you activate a booster partway through, add standard and boosted match totals separately.

These are arithmetic examples, not forecasts of your win rate. Count only completed eligible matches and apply the booster to matches played while it is active.

Both routes activate the same booster for the rest of the test. They do not stack; completing both does not raise the bonus to 40%.

1. 1Twitch route: link your Twitch and Ubisoft accounts through Ubisoft Connect. Stay signed in to Twitch and watch a participating March of Giants streamer for one hour. Follow the official claim/linking instructions.
2. 2Discord route: enter the official March of Giants Discord and open #get-pioneer-booster-here. Follow its instructions to claim and redeem a code.
3. 3After activation, compare your next completed PvP reward with 120 for a win or 60 for a loss. If activation fails, preserve the claim status and use the relevant official account/support channel.

The October 8 announcement advertises 840 Discord Orbs for the March of Giants Playtest Quest during October 7–17, 2026. Accept the Quest, play on Steam for at least 15 minutes with Discord desktop running, then claim in Discord. Check your live Quest card for availability, reward terms and exact expiry; the Pioneer test itself runs through October 18.

Orbs go to your Discord account after claiming. They do not add to your 1,000 Pioneer Points or activate the separate 20% booster.

• Quest missing or progress stalled? Check the account, event window, Steam launch and Discord activity setting, then revisit the card. Availability varies; use Discord Quest help if it remains blocked.

1. 1Get Steam playtest approval and confirm the game launches; use the access steps above if blocked.
2. 2In Discord desktop, open Discover → Quests, find March of Giants and choose Accept Quest.
3. 3Play the Steam game for at least 15 minutes on the same PC with Discord running. Enable Activity Status or In-Game Overlay and check the Quest card for progress.
4. 4Return to Discover → Quests and choose Claim Reward once completed.

At 1,000 points, the program grants Pioneer status and its rewards. Pandemos is scheduled for October 12 at 10 AM EDT (14:00 UTC); reaching the target earlier does not make him playable before that date.

Use Ubisoft Support for sign-in, account access or linking failures. Use the official bug reporter for a reproducible game problem; include your test version, platform, exact action, timing and screenshot or video where useful. Avoid posting private account details in community threads.
